Police calls go to the Sheriff
Farragut does not list a town police department. Its new-resident page sends people to the Knox County Sheriff's Office for non-emergency police matters, so it is usually deputies who come to the house and who release it.
The Sheriff's contact page lists 865-215-2444 for non-emergency calls and 865-215-2243 for general information. Ask the deputy for the case number before they leave.
After a death in Farragut
The medical examiner
Farragut is in Knox County, so a sudden or unexplained death goes to the Knox County Regional Forensic Center on Production Lane in Knoxville.
The funeral home
You choose one and tell them your loved one is at the center. They arrange the pickup.

Call whenever you feel ready
You do not need to know the right words or have a plan. Say what happened, where it is, and whether the police or the medical examiner have finished. The company takes it from there, and the decision to hire stays with you.
Speak with a cleanup company
An independent company that works around Knoxville answers. Tell them what happened and where, then ask how they would handle it and how they price the job. The choice to go ahead is yours alone.
